About Accurate Backflow Testing LLC

Protecting water systems, maintaining compliance, and providing fast, transparent service across Troy and Oakland County since 2017.

Our Mission

Addressing a Critical Local Need

Accurate Backflow Testing LLC is a Troy, Michigan-based plumbing and backflow services company established in 2017 to address a critical local need: ensuring safe potable water through certified backflow testing, repair, installation, and comprehensive plumbing support.

Located at 6875 Donaldson Drive, Troy, MI 48085, we serve homeowners, property managers, and businesses across Troy and the surrounding Oakland County communities. Our mission is to protect water systems, maintain compliance, and provide fast, transparent service that reduces downtime and risk for our clients.

Our Story

Accurate Backflow Testing LLC was founded by a group of experienced plumbing professionals who recognized a gap in specialized backflow prevention services in the Metro Detroit area. Backflow prevention is a critical, code-driven element of safe water distribution, and many property owners struggle to find reliable vendors who combine technical expertise with clear communication and dependable documentation. Since our founding in 2017, we’ve focused on building a company that brings technical competence, local regulatory knowledge, and customer-first policies to every job.

In those early years, we concentrated on establishing relationships with local municipalities, training technicians in certified testing protocols, and building a reputation as the local experts for backflow prevention and plumbing services. Because backflow devices vary by application—residential irrigation systems, commercial boilers, fire suppression systems, and industrial process lines—our technicians train continually to understand multiple assembly types, testing standards, and repair practices.

Why Backflow Prevention Requires Skilled Professionals

Backflow prevention systems are often hidden from plain view, yet their proper operation is crucial to safety. Devices such as Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) assemblies, Double Check Valve Assemblies (DCVA), and Pressure Vacuum Breakers (PVB) must be installed correctly and tested annually (or as required) to verify their operation.

Faulty assemblies can allow contaminants—fertilizers, pesticides, chemical additives, or industrial fluids—into the potable water supply. Proper testing requires calibrated equipment and technicians who can diagnose, isolate, and repair issues without compromising downstream systems.

Our Approach to Service

Initial Assessment

We review existing test history, site access, and municipal requirements.

Repairs & Re-Testing

If an assembly fails, we provide a written repair estimate, perform repairs using quality parts, then re-test to confirm compliance.

Installations & Upgrades

For new installations or replacements, we size and install assemblies to code, coordinate inspections, and commission the device.

Preventive Maintenance Plans

We offer scheduled service agreements to ensure devices are tested and maintained on required timelines.
